Introduce of the New Products

The Animal Isolation and Quarantine Farm is ratified by the AQSIQ, it was enlarged and put into use in 2002. Located in Qingdao Animal Science and Technology Demonstration Park, this quarantine farm covers an area of over 400 Mu and the building area is over 11,000㎡

The quarantine and isolation farm is well established and equipped. There are 12 close feedlots, which cover an area of 10,000㎡; a play ground for 18,000㎡, which can hold 3,000 cattle or 10,000 sheep and goats. The isolation room, disinfection room, laboratory, dung disposal place and harmless carcass disposal place and excrement ferment pool are all built under the national inspection and quarantine standard. The isolation room, disinfection room and laboratory is equipped with various microscopes, even-temperature box and segregators etc, by which we can treat and control the animal disease, do the examination of excrement, blood testing and the analysis and culture of common disease bacteria. Outside the farm, there are a forage grass-planting base for 300 Mu and forage pool for 3000 tons and forage grass processing equipment.

 Since the quarantine and isolation farm comes into use, it has successfully taken over many quarantine tasks.
